WC's Britez All-American

The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) has named Weatherford College’s Bruno Britez to its NJCAA Men’s All-America Team for the 2023-24 season.

The ITA recognizes the top 10 players in its final National Singles Rankings as All-Americans. Britez finished with the No. 4 ranking.

The native of San Lorenzo, Paraguay, was a semifinalist at the NJCAA Division I National Tournament in the spring. He won his first three matches and lost in the semifinals to the eventual national champion.

Britez is the second ITA All-American in WC history. Anastasiia Khrustaleva was a women’s ITA All-American in 2022. 

Britez is returning for his second season at WC in the fall.
