Lady Eagles softball team hit the ground running

Going into their second season, there was a renewed focus for the direction of the TCA-Willow Park softball team, with expectations set not just for winning ball games but for how to play the game at the highest level. With a new coach and a team made up entirely of freshmen and sophomores, the Lady Eagles softball team hit the ground running, letting nothing, not injuries, experience, or anything else, hold them back. The young team immediately bought in to the changes and philosophy of the new program and has laid a great, solid foundation for its future. With the return of their four All-District players in freshman shortstop, Emily Ickert (1st Team), freshman center fielder, Berlynn Kaznowski (2nd team), freshman second baseman, Kenley Sitz (Honorable Mention), and sophomore catcher, Ashlyn Chaffey (Honorable Mention), the return of a majority of last year’s players, and an influx of freshmen and transfer players coming in, the TCA Lady Eagles are ready to take on any challenge in the upcoming 2024 season!
