JW Mechanical operates as a veteran-owned, family-run local HVAC business

The married co-owners Jeff and Carrie Woychesin have grown their business from the ground up, based out of Aledo but servicing all DFW.

Carrie said JW Mechanical is a true mom-and-pop shop.

Carrie — who runs the social media, accounting books, and advertising — grew up in Aledo and graduated in 1996.

Jeff is the license holder and is one of the technicians, and even their 17-year-old daughter Stella works in the family business throughout her summer and winter breaks.

Their two golden retrievers also work in the office, serving as the positive energy and a calming presence to all that visit.

Additionally, all JW Mechanical technicians are EPA certified and verified by the state. “We don’t hire anyone that we don’t feel comfortable with in my own home and around my children,” Carrie said.

Beyond the familial employees, Carrie said they try to operate in a close-knit work environment.

“Our technicians are not selling technicians; they don’t operate on commission because we don’t want to create that kind of environment where there is reward in running up a ticket on a client unnecessarily. So many companies are out there creating salesman instead of good old fashioned service,” Carrie said.

An Army veteran family, Carrie said they always hire veterans when they can.

Founded in 2016, JW Mechanical Systems brings second-generation expertise —now cultivating third-generation expertise through Stella —and attention to detail with their service.

 JW Mechanical provides air conditioning, heating, and refrigeration services to both commercial facilities and residences, in addition to routine maintenance plans — which they emphasize is the key to keeping your HVAC unit running long term.

The business also offers financing options to its customers.
