District 5-5A wrestling

Aledo junior varsity wrestlers finished the season on a strong note in the District 5-5A Tournament at Springtown on Saturday, Jan. 27. Four wrestlers won gold medals (3 boys, 1 girl), with four others (2 boys and 2 girls) placing second.

The Ladycats played a challenging game of basketball against the Stephenville Honeybees. The eighth-grade A and C teams both had victories over Stephenville.
