The Weatherford Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution installed new officers for the years 2024 – 2026 at its May meeting.
District II Director Vicki McComack remembered and thanked the previous officers, then she shared a special challenge for each officer and they were each given a special pin for the occasion. Because of bad weather, Mrs. McComack was unable to be at the meeting personally but participated through Zoom. Refreshments were served afterwards for everyone in attendance.
The Weatherford DAR chapter meets on the fourth Tuesday of every month September through May with a few exceptions for holidays. For more information about joining this genealogical and service organization, email weatherfordnsdar@gmail.com.
