In the three largest weight classes, Daniel Bunting, Austin Connor, and Ansel Din-Mbuh all qualified. Bunting and Connor finished fourth in their weight classes, while Din-Mbuh went undefeated in the 285 weight class and brought home the first district title in Aledo wrestling.
In just the first season of the program, coach Stockon is taking six wrestlers, including a district champion to El Paso on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 11-12 for a chance to wrestle at the state championships.
