In a very short meeting, the Willow Park City Council unanimously approved a Chapter 380 development agreement between the city and Pulido’s Westland Willow Park, LLC at its Feb. 25 meeting.
Under the terms of the agreement, Pulido’s anticipates spending an estimated $400,000 for renovation and construction of the property at 104 South Ranch House Road, the site of the former Lazy J Ranchwear.
Once developed, the completed restaurant at that location will produce annual taxable sales of $2.5 million dollars. The city agrees to provide a development incentive grant of 50% of the local sales tax generated during the first two years of the restaurant’s operation.
Under the agreement, the developer agrees to be operational by January 1, 2026.
During the meeting the council also welcomed new City Secretary Deana McMullen with a standing ovation following her swearing-in.
