The volleyball winning streak continued Saturday in a loud Betty Jo Graber Athletic Center at Weatherford College. The Coyotes won their 11th match in a row, sweeping Temple College 25-16, 25-12, 25-9.
The Coyotes improved to 21-2 overall and 6-0 in conference play, alone in first place in the Northern Texas Junior College Athletic Conference.
Selanny Puente led the WC offense with nine kills. Lorena Gomez had 21 assists. Abby Benitez continued her run with 15 digs. Brooke McHale had 10 digs.
Weatherford travels to Cisco College Wednesday, Oct. 4, North Central Texas College in Gainesville Oct. 7 and Southwestern Christian College in Terrell Oct. 11. The Coyotes’ next home match will be Saturday, Oct. 14 at 1 p.m. against Vernon College.
