Thompson leads nine Ladycat honors

Sophomore Emery “Tiny” Thompson of the Aledo Ladycats was named the Defensive MVP on the All-District 5-5A Girls Soccer Team. She is one of nine players to receive accolades from the coaches in the league.

First-team honors went to senior midfielder Jourdan Hart, along with senior forward Harper Smith and senior defender Ella Bertram.

Placed on the second team were senior goalkeeper Jaime Smith, along with junior midfielders Emaree Gibson and Georgia Zirbser, and junior forward Sydney McGuire.

Sophomore defender Reagan Tomlin received honorable mention.
