Aledo Thanksgiving Trot

The Aledo Thanksgiving Trot has announced that Jared Chasteen will be the recipient of funds from this year’s race. Jared, who is self-employed, is fighting colon cancer, and has already amassed a very large amount of medical expenses. Jared and his wife Adeana have two children — one graduated from and one in Aledo ISD. The loss of income and mounting bills, added to the hardship of cancer treatment, gives the community an opportunity to step up and help one of its own.
