Led by Gracee Whiteaker, the Willow Park Trinity Christian Lady Eagles won the Varsity Girls Division of the SCS Invitational at Fort Worth Southwest Christian School this past Saturday, Aug. 26.
Whiteaker posted a time of 12 minutes, 33.79 seconds on the 3200-meter course. She was followed by teammate Emma Saadah, who clocked a 12:58.20 for second.
Also in the top 25 for TCA were Brooklyn Mathieson, 20th, 14:22.14; and Madison Clark, 23rd, 14:52.05.
The Lady Eagles had a team score of 58 points to edge Fort Worth Nolan Catholic with 66.
In the Middle School Boys Division, the Eagles placed fourth. They were led by Andrew Todey in sixth place with a time of 9:37.85 over 2400 meters, while Henry Reynolds was 15th with a 10:08.06.
