TCA announces new Lady Eagles varsity softball coach

Trinity Christian Academy has announced the hiring of Miranda Carlisle as head varsity softball coach. Coach Carlisle comes to TCA after serving three years as head coach at Parkers Chapel High School in El Dorado, Arkansas, where she led the Trojans to the state playoff twice, including the state semi-finals in 2021.

Prior to Parkers Chapel, Carlisle was an assistant at Randolph College in Lynchburg, Virginia for two seasons. She began her coaching career with the 18u travel team for the St. Louis Illusions.

Carlisle graduated summa cum laude in three years from Stephens College (English and Art History), where she was a starting pitcher. She holds a Masters in English Literature from Liberty University. In addition to coaching, she will be a member of the TCA English department.

“We are thrilled to have Coach Carlisle join the TCA family,” Bryan Marmion, TCA Athletic Director, said. “ She brings a level of professionalism and stability that will allow us to develop a program indicative of the athletic and spiritual excellence we expect of all of our teams at TCA.”

“I am thrilled to have this opportunity to help build Lady Eagles softball into a Championship program,” Carlisle said. “I look forward to shaping the lives of my students and athletes through academics and athletics with a foundation built on God’s love and truth. My goal, on the softball field, is to empower young women to become strong, confident athletes as well as respectful, responsible citizens who will use their faith to guide them through anything and everything they will achieve. Whatever it takes, we will progress spiritually, academically, and athletically – always moving forward and never backing down. I am thrilled for this opportunity, and I can’t wait to begin!”

Trinity Christian Academy is a PK3-12th grade college-preparatory Christian school located in Willow Park. For more information, visit tcaeagles.org
