The City of Weatherford announced the promotion of Ashley Seiler to director of economic development. She has served as assistant director of economic development since July 2023.
In her new role, Seiler will continue to lead the department in advancing economic initiatives, fostering business growth, and enhancing the city’s appeal as a prime destination for investment and talent.
Seiler brings a wealth of experience and dedication to the position, having served with distinction in previous experiences, including PepsiCo Sales district leader, leading the team and market to multi-million dollar success. She has also served in the Air National Guard for the past 14 years, serving on two tours, and continues to support the Mission Support Group with the North Dakota Air National Guard.
Her background in sales, economic strategy, and business development has been instrumental in driving numerous successful projects that have generated job growth, spawned development in key areas, and supported local businesses.

In her capacity as director, Seiler will focus on implementing strategic initiatives aimed at attracting new industries, supporting entrepreneurial endeavors, and promoting a resilient economy.
