Prince, Marshall to be honored in Dallas

Outlook Positive express Network presents HerStory 2024

Two leaders from Parker County will be among the honorees at HerStory 2024, an event sponsored by the Outlook Positive Express Network, an affiliate of the American Business Women’s Association, on Feb. 3 in Dallas.

Kit Marshall and Zan Prince of Parker County are among five honorees at the event, where the keynote speaker will be Fort Worth native and community/civil rights activist Opal Lee, a lifetime achievement award recipient.

Marshall, former mayor of Aledo, is the Director of Advocacy and Community Affairs for the Greater Fort Worth Association of Realtors.

Prince, former chair of the Parker County Republican Party, is the Chairman of the Board of First Bank Texas.

Additional honorees include Allison Byrd Haley, Executive Director/Founder of Heavenly Mimi; Janet Bernstein, Training Concierge for Certain Path Training; and Jessica Marion, owner of Marion Childcare University.

According to a release from Outlook Positive Express Network, HerStory 2024 is a platform dedicated to recognizing and honoring women who have made remarkable contributions to their respective fields. The event will showcase the stories of exceptional women who have not only excelled in their careers but have also left a lasting impact on the community.

Nominees are recognized based on the following criteria:

1. Success in their chosen field of work or influence.

2. Lasting impact in the community.

3. Involvement/contribution to the community.

4. Role model and/or mentor involvement.

The event will run from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 3, at Dallas Bible Church, 15765 Hillcrest Road in Dallas. There will be a pre-event social at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 2, at Pour Choices in Carrollton.
