Poised in Public - Elementary and middle school students address AISD Board

It was a big lectern, but that didn’t intimidate students from McCall Elementary School and Aledo Middle School when they addressed the school board in February.

Aledo Middle School Principal Mandy Musselwhite introduced students who spoke of their “Exceptional Experiences at Aledo Middle School.”

Speakers were Caleb Doss, Luke Tarrant, Landry Kasper, Amos Collier, Julia Bettencourt, and Abigail Myser.

Likewise, students from McCall spoke of their positive experiences at school. Speakers were Kaitlyn Newell, Alex Morris, Liam Scott, Carolina Luna, and Ejona Halili.

Caleb Doss spoke about inviting new students to the Bearcat Den at Aledo Middle School.

Luke Tarrant spoke about his experience as an ambassador at Aledo Middle School.
