O. C. was born April 29, 1939 in Aledo. Interment to follow at Aledo Brown Cemetery, Aledo.
In the 1950s O. C. worked for American Manufacturing and Aledo Feed Mill in Aledo (now known as Bryant Grain), Texas State Highway Department, and General Motors. He retired from General Motors after 34 years.
O. C. was a Director for the Aledo Fire Department and was Wyatt Earp for the Aledo centennial celebration. He volunteered for years with the Ag Backers at the Aledo schools. O. C. loved Aledo and the Aledo Bearcats football team.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his eldest son, Randy; his brothers, L. D. Dugan, and Lester Dugan; and sister, Doris Reynolds.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Glennetta; daughter, Sheri Flowers; son, Toby; daughter-in-law, Charlotte; two granddaughters; four great-grandchildren; and many nephews and nieces.
The funeral service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, November 4, 2022 at Aledo Church of Christ, 201 FM 1187 South, Aledo, with visitation from 1-2 p.m. at the church prior to the service.
