Locals compete in NTPGA events

Four golfers from Aledo each won their age groups for boys and girls in recent tournaments at Squaw Creek on the Northern Texas PGA Junior Golf Medalist and Prep Tours.

Ford Hill won the Boys 15-18 division on the Medalist Tour, shooting 78 over 18 holes.

Korbyn McBride, competing in the Girls 15-18 Prep Tour division, took the top spot by shooting a 56 over nine holes. She also placed second in a tournament at Grapevine Golf Course, posting a 61 over nine holes.

Cannon Cole posted an 84 over 18 holes to win the Boys 11-12 Prep Tour division and Ainsley Henze shot 83 over 18 to capture the Girls 11-12 category on the Prep Tour.
