Lady Eagles win one of three

The Trinity Christian Academy Lady Eagles softball team won one of three games recently and stands at 3-8 on the season.

The Lady Eagles defeated Fort Worth Trinity Valley 14-4, fell to Pantego 10-5, and to Fort Worth Lake Country 14-4.

In the victory, Breely Chapman had two hits and walked; Emily Ickert had a hit, walk, was hit by a pitch, and drove in two runs; Berlynn Kasnowski had a hit and was hit by a pitch twice; Claire Chaffey had a hit with two RBI; Karter Kelley drove in two runs and Avery Tiwater had a hit with two walks and three RBI.

Against Pantego, Addison Shoppoch collected a pair of hits with two RBI, while Ickert and Christina Kuschel each tripled with two runs driven in.

Against Lake Country, Ickert had three hits and stole four bases. Also, Kaznowski and Chaffey each had two hits, one of which was a triple for Chaffey with two RBI, while Kaznowski stole three bases.
