Friends of Aledo Public Library to hold a Scholastic Book Fair

The building, which will be called Second Story Books, is located at 213 Mesquite Street, right behind the Refinishing Queen, off Front Street.

The Book Fair will be open during Christmas Tyme in Aledo which will provide a wonderful opportunity to browse the books, do some Christmas shopping, and help spark a child’s love of reading. 

After the Book Fair, the building will house a used book store and offer rentable community space.

The Friends of Aledo Public Library, a non-profit 501(c)3 organization was formed to support the programming, materials and staff needs of the library, and it is hoped that the book store will help further this mission and be of benefit to community members who might be looking for spaces to tutor, hold crafting or game sessions, baby and wedding showers, or any other events.   

Book Fair Hours:                         

• December 4th and 5th – 5pm to 8pm for parent preview and sip and shop
• December 6th – 10am to 8pm
• December 7th – 12pm to 4pm
• December 8th to December 10th – 12pm to 8pm
