Four Ladycats named all-district

Four members of the Aledo Ladycats have been named to the All-District 5-5A Girls Basketball Team by the league’s coaches. All are seniors.

Selected for the first team are Clair Byars and Presley Hull. Second-team honors went to Kandle Boggus and Reagan Davis.

The quartet helped the Ladycats to a fourth-place finish in district play and a playoff berth, where they defeated Everman before falling to Colleyville Heritage in the second round. Aledo finished the season 17-17 overall and 6-6 in district.
