Coyotes win 4th straight conference title with sweep against Collin College

For the fourth year in a row, the No. 2 Weatherford College volleyball team has won the Northern Texas Junior College Athletic Conference title. The Coyotes have won the conference title every year since the program began in 2022 under head coach Kailee May.  

Marking their 35th consecutive conference victory, WC defeated Collin College in Frisco on Wednesday, winning 25-17, 25-14, and 25-11. Adding their 24th 3-0 sweep this season, the Coyotes remain flawless in conference play with a 15-0 record and stand 26-2 overall.  

The Coyote offense was an efficient machine against the Cougars, achieving a .500 overall hitting percentage on 42 total kills. 

Beline Thibaut led the attack with a team-high nine kills, recorded five service aces, and defensively claimed eight digs. 

Ally McCabe tallied 22 assists and six digs, alongside Addison Row who produced 14 assists and six digs as well. 

The Coyote volleyball team will be at home 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25, to face Vernon College.
