City approves engineering agreement

The Annetta Town Council approved a partnership with KKM Associates, LLC to become their engineering firm for the Town of Annetta. 

As one of the top assignments under their agreement, Robert McGhee, a 24-year Parker County resident, will be the representative for KKM. He will assist The Town of Annetta with the planning and future development of the town's water system.

Also on the agenda, the council approved an agreement to with a vendor to install the generators at Water Plant No. 4 and the Lakes of Aledo Water Plant.

The council also voted to keep in place the town’s investment policy. Council member Kent Stasey stated, “It’s nice to know that we have policy and procedures in place that we can rely when needed.”

The 2024-2025 budget workshop was set for a time in July yet to be announced. Also, the Drought Contingency Plan was tabled for more discussion at the July meeting.

The next council meeting will be at 7 p.m. on July 19. The council meets at Annetta City Hall, 450 Thunder Head Ln. in Annetta.
