Bishop's Alamo Stars of San Antonio win gold

Joyce Bishop and her senior volleyball team Alamo Stars of San Antonio won gold in the 78+ age group of 2025 Huntsman World Senior Games. The event was held in Hurricane, Utah and concluded Oct. 18. Bishop regularly plays pickleball at Aledo Church at the Crossing and volleyball at Fort Worth Riverside Recreation, sometimes both in the same day. Bishop was also given a watch to commemorate her 20 years participating in the World Senior Games.
