The Aledo High School Class of 2024 Project Celebration Committee has planned a festive February evening to benefit Aledo High School Class of 2024 Project Celebration.

The Bearcat Mardi Gras Ball will run from 6-10 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 25, at The Social Space, 205 S. Calhoun St. in Fort Worth.

“It's for the kids,” said Kari Neeley, Aledo Project Celebration 2024 board president. “We want Bearcat Mardi Gras Ball to be an entertaining evening for the community that also raises funds to support the Aledo class of 2024 students.”

Tickets for Bearcat Mardi Gras Ball will include entrance into the event for those 21 and older, a buffet dinner, open bar for beer and wine, non-alcoholic beverages, entertainment, and additional activities. A cash bar will also be available.

A live auction will feature four single-day VIP passes to the Palmer Suites Sky Box with access to Crenshaw Village and the Burns Michelob ULTRA Athletic Club Village with food and beverage included at the Charles Schwab Challenge at Colonial Country Club in May 2023.

A silent auction will feature a variety of items including one-hour training sessions with varsity football players and cheerleaders, golf-related items, and canine training.

The Celebrity Bartending event featuring TCU football players and Aledo alumni, Colt Ellison and Wyatt Harris will add to the Mardi Gras fun. Guests can also purchase $25 rings for the Heads or Tails game for a chance to split the pot with PC2024.

“With community support, we can supply the seniors of 2024 with a drug- and alcohol-free after-prom party where every senior is invited,” Neeley said. The after-prom Project Celebration event will be held in the spring of 2024 for Aledo High School seniors and will feature fun and entertainment, food, and prizes for seniors. Aledo Project Celebration 2024 also funds other senior activities to celebrate high school accomplishments, including Senior Promenade and Senior Breakfast.

Individual Bearcat Mardi Gras Ball tickets are $125. Tables of 10 are also available for $1,250 each.
