Area squads compete at TAPPS State Meet

Three area teams competed in the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools State Track Meet in Hewitt May 2-4.

Leading area athletes was Landry Perkins of Weatherford Christian, who won gold medals in the Class 3A 1600-meter and 3200-meter runs. In Class 4A, Willow Park Trinity Christian’s Ella Cockrum won a gold medal in the discus.
