In the season-opening games for both teams, Aledo Middle School defeated McAnally Monday, Nov. 13. Game scores were:
Seventh-grade: A teams, AMS 49, McAnally 18; B teams, AMS 33, McAnally 1; C teams, AMS 39, McAnally 5.
Eighth-grade: A teams, AMS 29, McAnally 27; B teams, AMS 35, McAnally 5; C teams, AMS 39, McAnally 9.
