The Aledo team tennis season came to an end in the Class 5A Region I Tournament semifinals Friday, Oct. 20, with a 10-0 loss to Abilene Wylie in the semifinals at Hamilton Park Tennis Center in Wichita Falls.
The Bearcats ended the season with a 17-2 record. They won 13 straight matches before Friday’s loss, including postseasons wins of 10-0 over Fort Worth North Side, 11-7 over Birdville and 11-8 over Colleyville Heritage.
Aledo also won the District 5-5A championship with a 6-0 record.
