The following offenses were observed or reported to the Weatherford Police Department between Thursday 06-16-11and Friday 06-17-11.

Theft:
06/16/11, 300 S. Alamo St, a complainant reported that between 12:30pm and 3:00pm while at the Cherry Park swimming pool area, an unknown suspect had stolen her cell phone that was sitting left on a table.

06-16-11, 1000 Vine St, a complainant reported that between 06-09-11 and 06-16-11 unknown suspect(s) had stolen his 1998 Honda Accord vehicle from the his apartment parking lot.

06-16-11, 100 I-20 West, a complainant reported that at approx 3am a known suspect had stone her cellular phone from her motel room.

The following offenses were observed or reported to the Weatherford Police Department between Wednesday 06-15-11 and Thursday 06-16-11.

Theft:
06/15/11, 1400 Ft Worth Hwy, a complainant reported that between 10pm 06-15-11 and 5am 06-16-11 an unknown suspect had stolen his 2004 Dodge pickup truck that was parked next to his residence.

06-15-11, 1900 S. Main St, an employee of the Dollar Tree reported that between 06-12-11 and 06-15-11 unknown suspect(s) had stolen the copper and aluminum parts out of two external air conditioning units.

Weatherford Police Department Swears In Its Newest Officer!

On Thursday, 06/16/2011, the Weatherford Police Department welcomed its newest member to the department – Officer Todd Wainscott. He was issued the “Oath of Office” this morning (06/16/2011) at City Hall by Judge Tim Galbreaith and officially sworn in. Officer Wainscott grew up in Stephenville, Texas and started his law enforcement career in Strawn, Texas in 1994. Officer Wainscott is no stranger to Weatherford, he was an officer for the Weatherford Police Department once before from 2002 until 2004 when he left to move to Wyoming. He has moved back and we are excited that he has returned to the department!

The following offenses were observed or reported to the Weatherford Police Department between Tuesday 06-14-11 and Wednesday 06-15-11.

Theft:
06/13/11, 409 N. Main, The complainant reported that during business hours, someone stole his lap top computer from his desk. The computer was valued at approx. $600 to $800.00.

Criminal Mischief:
06-15-11, 1966 S. Main, the complainant reported that during the night time hours on 06/14/11 and 06/15/11, someone broke the front door window to his business. The cost to repair the damage is estimated to be approx. $500.00

The following offenses were observed or reported to the Weatherford Police Department between Friday 06-13-11 and Monday 06-14-11.

Theft:
06/13/11, 409 N. Main, The complainant reported that during business hours, someone stole his lap top computer from his desk. The computer was valued at approx. $600 to $800.00.

Criminal Mischief:
06-13-11, 236 I 20 West, the complainant reported that between the hours of 1030 and 1929 hours, someone broke the front door of the church by unknown means. The report was for Criminal Mischief to a church or place of worship. There was no estimated cost for the repairs to the door.

Theft:
06-12-11, 200 I-20 West, an employee of Applebee’s reported that at approx 3:30pm a male and female suspect left the restaurant without paying for a meal valued at $49.00.

Burglary of a Vehicle:
06-12-11, 600 Palo Pinto St, a complainant reported that between 5:30pm and 6:00pm an unknown suspect had entered into a vehicle without permission and stole a purse.

06-09-11, 500 North Main St, s complainant reported that at approx noon an unknown male suspect had stolen her son’s backpack that was left unattended next to the skate area at McGratton Park.

06-08-11, 700 Narrow St, on 06-04-11 at approx 10am a complainant reported that unknown suspect(s) had damaged a glass door at the Harberger Hill Community Center by apparently shooting the door with a BB gun.

Burglary of a Habitation:
06-07-11, 100 May Ct, a complainant reported that between 05-30-11 and 06-06-11 unknown suspect(s) had entered into a residence without permission and stole a set of speakers and miscellaneous jewelry.
