Remington Boone paced the Lady Kangaroos, placing ninth individually in the Elite Varsity Girls division at the Southlake Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 7. She clocked a time of 18:22.50.

Weatherford Christian

Evelyn Wood of the Lady Lions finished 12th among the varsity girls in the Mineral Wells Invitational recently, clocking a time of 16:35.36 over the 3.2K course. Also, Brinley Burbidge was 20th in 18:00.63.

The Lions' top runner was Owen Gray, who was 52nd over 5K with a time of 23:42.75.

Weatherford Christian will compete in the Terry Jessup Invitational in Haltom City on Sept. 14.
