Verna Martin Spigler, 78, died onVerna Spigler Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2010, in Fort Worth.

Graveside service: 11 a.m. Friday in Azleland Memorial Park, 850 N. Cardinal Rd., Azle.

Verna Spigler was born Aug. 28, 1932, in Vernon, daughter of the late Herschel Marlet and Willie Edna Brock Martin. She was the third of four children. Verna had lived in the Azle area 27 years and was a member of Eagle Mountain Baptist Church. She was very active in DAV Women's Auxiliary in Fort Worth. Verna liked to work jigsaw puzzles and work in her yard. She also enjoyed cooking and having friends over.

Verna was preceded in death by her husband, George Spigler in 1990; her parents; and three brothers.

Charles Kent Sunday, 57, died Monday, December 06, 2010 at his residence in Weatherford. Kent was born August 17, 1953 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was owner of Kent Sunday Insurance Agency and a member of First United Methodist Church. Kent was a Mason and a Shriner, he loved ranching and riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle. His wife Linda proceeds him in death.

Milton Graves "Butch" Perry, 70, died peacefully December 5, 2010 after his battle with cancer. Memorial Service: 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 8 at White's Azle Chapel.

Family and friends will gather afterward to celebrate his life at the home of James and Chrysta Perry. Butch was born October 23, 1940 in Brownwood.

Erna M. Bell, 89, a former bookkeeper, passed away Monday, December 6, 2010.

Memorial service will be 10 am Wednesday at White’s Chapel of Memories.

Erna Bell was born August 22, 1921 in Munich Germany to Michael and Marie Mois. She was preceded in death by her husband Billie L. Bell in 2002.

Survivors include daughter, Beth Coffman of Weatherford; grandson, Jon Coffman and wife, Susan of Plano; and great-granddaughter, Haley.

Guy ButlerGuy Butler, 54, a loving father and granddaddy, went to be with the Lord on Friday, Dec. 3, 2010, at his home.

Funeral: 10 a.m. Thursday in White's Chapel of Memories. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at White's Funeral Home.

Guy Butler was born May 27, 1956, the son of Martin and Marie Butler. He worked for Lockheed Martin for 34 years and lived every day for the Lord. Guy was a devoted christian and a prayer warrior for his family.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Cheryl Ann Goodson, 53, died suddenly, Saturday, October 16, 2010, at her home in Fort Worth. Cheryl was, and will always be, a loving mother of two sons, a loving grandmother with three grandchildren, whose lives sustained her and gave great joy to her until her final days. She was a devoted daughter, who will be remembered for her unending love, her personality that had the power to take over a room and her red hair (along with the zest and zeal that all redheads possess). She will be remembered as an unwavering soul, friend, mother, wife and grandmother. Cheryl loved life and those in her life loved her.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her father, Jack Ferguson of Weatherford. She was a homemaker, dental assistant and member of the South Main Church of Christ.

Marjorie Hancock, 76, of Fort Worth died Friday, October 15, 2010, at a Weatherford nursing facility.
Marjorie was born June 27, 1934, in Johnson County, where she lived most of her life. She was a bartender for Gators in Fort Worth.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, Barney L. and Ona Byars Lee, and her daughter, Sherry Hancock.

Survivors include her Son, JW Hancock and wife, Juenna Gayle, of Weatherford; sister, Pat Thedford and husband, Connell, of Hurst; brothers, Bill Lee and wife, Rosemary, of Godley, Charles Rhea Lee of Haltom City and Don Lee and wife, Carolyn, of Arlington; granddaughters, Aimee Hancock and Charity McKee.

Louise BoydLouise Boyd, 74, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother sister, aunt and friend died Friday, October 15, 2010 in Fort Worth.

Louise was born February 3, 1936 in Argyle to Eldridge and Lela McCarty Teeters. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Paschal in 1965; brother, Dallas Teeters; sister Terry Brewer; and brother, Edwin Noble.

Survivors include her sons, Rodney Paschal and wife, Shelia of Mineral Wells, Jon Paschal and wife, Dixie of Guthrie, Okla; daughters, Jamie Perry and husband, Richard, Patti Paschal and husband, Donald; son, Matt Paschal and wife, Susan all of Azle; 14 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sisters, Ethel Holmes and Edna Self.

Modean Wells, 90, of Azle,died Thursday October 14, 2010 in a Weatherford nursing facility.

Born December 4, 1919 in Hollis, Oklahoma, she was a resident of Parker County for many years. Modean was a retired bookkeeper for Kmart and a member of the Weatherford Church of the Nazarine. She enjoyed crocheting and cooking.

Modean is preceded in death by her husband, Barney W. Wells. Survivors include her daughter, Connie Duncan and husband Jim of Fort Worth; son, Joe Wells of Azle; sister, Chris Reaves of Azle; three grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Graveside service: 1 p.m, in Laurel Land Memorial Park, Fort Worth with Rev. Jerry Harrison officiating. Visitation: 6-8 p.m, Sunday, October 17 at Galbreaith Pickard. Services in care of Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.

Hal TownsendHal Townsend, 77, of Fort Worth died Tuesday October 12, 2010 in a Fort Worth care facility.

Born February 4, 1933 in Alto, Texas, he was a long time resident of Tarrant County. Hal retired from Bell Helicopter in 1998 after 34 years. He was a machinist and a tool application engineer. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Hal is preceded in death by his parents, Tom Hobson and Ethel Mae Rogers Townsend, and two sisters, Wenona Skinner and Beulah Faye White.
