Larry Kent Barclay

Larry was born on June 13, 1933 in Lewiston, Illinois.

He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving during the Korean War. Larry moved his family to Texas in the early 1960’s and lived in Fort Worth and surrounding counties for the last 50 years. He was retired from General Dynamics, but had a wide variety of occupations over his working career including corporate sales, manufacturing and owning several small businesses. Larry worked most recently as a school bus driver in Aledo. Larry enjoyed a very out-going personality and never met a stranger. He followed sports of all kinds and enjoyed gardening and his dogs.

Larry is survived by his partner of many years, Elaine Johnson of Weatherford; he has a son, Mike Barclay of Fort Worth, wife, Hope and grandson, Nick; son, Larry G. Barclay of Burleson, wife, Karen and grandchildren, John and Betsy.

Jack Ray Aldridge

Jack was born October 31, 1941 to Jack Lee and Irene Cathey Aldridge, in Palestine. He proudly and honorably served his country in the United States Army. Jack retired after 30 years from Lockheed Martin. He was a partner of Texas Tire Sales in Weatherford.

Survivors include his wife Bonnie Aldridge of Whitesboro; sons, Jackie Aldridge and wife, Stephanie, of Weatherford and Scott Aldridge and wife, Tiffany, of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Blake, Jacalynn and Tanner Aldridge, and Colby and Chloe Aldridge; brother, Robert Aldridge of Perrin; and many loving family members and friends.

Chuck was born June 21, 1944 in Fort Worth to Jesse and Ruby Shive.

He was a longtime resident of Parker County. Chuck was an avid fisherman and camper. The loves of his life were his wife of 32 years, Dawn, daughters, and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors: wife, Dawn Shive of Hudson Oaks; daughters, Darla Farley and husband, Mark of Weatherford, Tahra White of Keller,and Laura Putnam and husband, William of Ala.; grandchildren, Mariah, Whitney, Loren, Erika, Tommy, Megan and Lexie; brother, Robbie Shive and wife, Lanie of Fort Worth; and many friends and acquaintances.

Rocky Ray Lopez
Rocky was born July 26, 2003. He attended Ridglea Hills Elementary. Rocky was a shining beam of light.

Tommy 'T.J" Joe Cochran

Tommy was born September 24, 1934 in Mt. Pleasant to William Howard and Elizabeth Cochran. He was a longtime resident of Saginaw. Tommy was an avid musician (guitar), deer hunter and fisherman. The love of his life was his wife, Connie.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers.

Survivors include his wife, Connie Cochran of Saginaw; son, Stevie Cochran and wife, Kathryn of North Richland Hills; daughter, Rhonda Esskew and husband, Jeff of Saginaw; six grandchildren; a pretty good dog, Rookie; and many loving friends.

Bonnie Mae Roach was born on March 13, 1928, in Springtown. After growing up there, she moved to Fort Worth with her husband, Boyd Roach, where they lived for 25 years. In 1972, she and Boyd moved back to Springtown and built a new house on her family home place.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband of almost 60 years, Boyd Roach, her parents, Abe and Dona Lowe, and brother-in-law and sister, Howard and Emma Lee Burkhalter. Boyd and Bonnie were most proud of their two daughters; Kandy Foster and husband, Bill, and Kuby McClendon and husband, Bobby, all of Springtown. Her legacy included eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, of whom she was most proud. She will be greatly missed.

James Moore Plumlee

James was born in Weatherford, Texas on April 5, 1922, the only son of James C. and Elizabeth Moore Plumlee. A descendant of Parker County pioneers and a sixth-generation Texan, he grew up in Weatherford, and graduated from Weatherford High School in 1939. He showed an aptitude for art and design throughout his school career, and received honors both in intramural contests and at exhibits in Weatherford College for his drawings and paintings. He was named art editor for the high school yearbook his senior year. He placed second in the state in a tennis tournament while still in high school. In 1938, he attained the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America. He attended S.M.U. and the University of Texas in Austin before volunteering for the U.S. Army in World War II. He earned the expert rifleman’s badge in basic training and served as a combat infantryman in the 80th Division of Patton’s Third Army in Europe. He was active in the Battle of the Rhineland and was awarded the Bronze Star for valor. At the end of the war in Europe and while still on active duty, he attended the University of London and received a Certificate in Architecture. In the fall of 1945, he was assigned as a courier and clerk to the offices of Justice Robert Jackson, Chief Counsel for the Prosecution, at the Nuremberg War Trials in Germany.

James Milburn Green

James was born February 28, 1935 to Milburn and Allie Mae Green in Llano. He was a long time resident of Weatherford. Spending time with family and grandchildren was the highlight of his life. James served his country honorably in the United States Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.

Survivors include his wife, Annie Green of Weatherford; son, Tommy Green and wife, Brenda, of Weatherford, daughter, Glenda Watkins and husband, Michael, of Azle, son, Ricky Green and wife, Kimberly, of Weatherford, daughter, Shirlen Redington and husband, Keith, of Agnes, daughter, Susie Haugen and husband, Eddie, of Springtown, daughter, Virginia Manning and husband, Michael, of Weatherford, son, Donny Green and wife, Mandy, of Weatherford; 24 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and numerous friends and acquaintances.

Billy Gene Howard

Bill was born June 18, 1956, in Fort Smith, Ark., to Matthew and Luella Wurtz Howard. He was an employee of Chaney Trucking for the last three years and had worked at Texas Lil Dude Ranch for 15 years.

Survivors include his wife, Tina Hughes Howard of Springtown; stepsons, Eric Hughes and Shelena Bishop of Springtown, Tristan Farris and Aleigh of Saltillo, Miss.; grandchild, Hayden Hughes; brothers, Jimmy Dale and Bobby Joe Howard; and a host of loving family and friends.
