Ross Robertson, Jr.

Ross Robertson, Jr.

Ross L Robertson Jr. was born Aug. 1, 1930, in Weatherford, son of the late Ross Lafayette Robertson Sr. and Golden Tabor Robertson. At a young age, Ross served as the unofficial mascot of the fire department and got the nickname "Rooster", which stuck with him the rest of his life. Living near the fire station, his father tasked him with waking the firemen in the morning. When old enough he signed on to be a volunteer fireman, a service he continued until 1985.

In 1951, he started work for the City of Weatherford. Over the next four decades he worked as a police dispatcher, fireman, building inspector, city warehouse manager, and finally as the city's purchasing agent. He retired in 1991 after 40 years of service to the city and residents of Weatherford.

Ross was preceded in death by his mother, Golden, and father and former Chief of Police, Ross L. Robertson Sr.

Survivors: Wife of 62 years, Mary Messimer Robertson of Weatherford; son, Jerry Robertson of Bedford; daughter, Debbie Vaughan and husband, Dean, of Weatherford; grandsons, Alex Robertson of Dallas, Shawn Robertson of Euless, and Jason Vaughan of Annapolis, Md.; sister, Virginia Freeman of Watonsville, Calif.; sisters-in-law, Thelma Messimer, Mary Lou Messimer, and Dora Mae Messimer, all of Weatherford; family friends, Suzanne Tandy and Katherine Towson; and many nieces and nephews; and a host of loving friends.

Barbara Sue Johnsen

Barbara was born January 28, 1935 in Throckmorton. She was a longtime resident of Azle. Barara was an avid clothes shopper, but the highlights of her life were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; husband of thirty years, Tony; two sisters; and three brothers.

Survivors: sons, Danny Harris and wife, Kay of Fort Worth and Tony Johnsen and wife, Lori of Tenn.; daughter, Sue Ann Garrison of Boyd; sister, Chris Pressly of Fort Worth; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, neohews, friends and acquaintances.

Christopher John Hamilton, Jr.

Christopher was born May 20, 1926 to Chris J Hamilton, Sr. and Imogene Truett Hamilton in Jasper, Texas. He graduated from Port Arthur High School, earned bachelor degrees in Mathematics and Electrical Engineering from Lamar Tech and a Masters of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University.

Chris always dreamed of traveling the world. After almost losing his left foot in a motorcycle accident as a teenager, he was classified 4F for military service. With the determination he displayed throughout his life, he enlisted with the only branch of the service that would take him. He spent his 18th birthday in the Merchant Marines as a radio officer on an unarmed Liberty Ship. He served in every theater of WWII, including the liberation of the Philippines and the Korean War. During this time, he circumnavigated the globe 3 times and fulfilled his dream of international travel.

After college, he became a telecommunications engineer for Sun Oil Company and designed and installed telecom systems across the states, off-shore in the Gulf of Mexico, in South America and Angola. Later in life, he designed and implemented the first trans-continental fiber network for U.S. Telecom, one of the predecessors of Sprint. After retirement, he was actively involved in the lives of his grandchildren, encouraging them to pursue their unique interests and abilities.

Anna Mae Summers

Anna was born May 22, 1924 in Apache, Okla. to Charles and Sarah Richardson. She had been a longtime resident of Azle and member of Ash Creek Baptist Church. Anna retired from Stewart Title Company in Fort Worth after 20 years of service. She dearly loved her family, quilting and sewing.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Billy Jeff Summers.

She is survived by her sons, Art Johnson and wife, Cynthia of Reno and Charles Johnson and wife, Dianne of Keeter; step-son, Phil Summers of Ardmore, Okla.; step-daughter, Annette Shiro of Springtown; sisters, Oletha Oldham, Alice Schwengler and Dora Hobgood; also nine grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of acquaintances.

Seibert Frendly Hendrixson

Seibert was born in McMinnville, Tenn. to Robert Lee and Zena Tennie Hendrixson October 12, 1916. The family moved to Fort Worth when he was three years old. He grew up on the North Side and joined the United States Army in 1934 and then the Merchant Marines in 1945. Seibert worked at Lockeheed-Martin for 37 years in tooling inspection. He was his wife's loving and devoted caregiver during her long illness. Despite all his professional accomplishments, Seibert was proudest of his family, who will miss him beyond words.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters; and his wife of 60 years, Fon on April 3, 2000.

Survivors: Son, Robert A. Hendrixson and wife, Wetonna; daughter, Foncene Hendrixson and companion, Jim Hunter; grandchildren, Clay Hall and wife, Karen, Kelley Baker and husband, Don, Trent Hendrixson and wife, Melanie and Tyler Hendrixson; four great-grandchildren; and friend Noma Spaulding.

Clayton Ross Beauchamp

Clayton was born January 16, 1991, to Jack and Diana Tomlin Beauchamp, in Weatherford. He graduated from Weatherford High School with the Class of 2009. Clayton made his decision to join the United States Navy before he finished high school and became a Navy medic. He is one of three siblings in the Navy and has a long, proud history of military service in his family.

Survivors: Clayton is survived by his mother and father, Jack and Diana Beauchamp of Weatherford; sister, Cheyenne Beauchamp of Norfolk, Va.; brothers, Brian Beauchamp of Burleson, Christopher Beauchamp of Burleson and Timothy Kisor of Snyder; grandmother, Brenda Atchison of Weatherford; aunts and uncles, James and Susan Brook and Danny and Debbie Hood; fiancee, Ashlin Judd; and many loving family members and friends.

Louise was a long time resident of Olton, Texas. She was an avid homemaker, nurse, and loved cooking and square dancing. Louise served her country by sending her husband to serve in World War II and Korea. Her oldest son also served in Viet Nam.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Lorella Allen; husband, Louis; four brothers; and one sister.

Survivors include her daughter, Gayle Hankins and husband, Hayden of Azle; sons, Dwight Clark and wife, Sherian of Azle, Deryl Clark and wife, Linda of Abilene; sister, Loys Welch of Wichita Falls; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; special friend and roommate, Brenda Bryant; and numerous friends and acquaintances.
