Charles M. Linehan, 81, of Weatherford died Sunday, July 20, 2014.
Funeral is set for 1 p.m. Thursday in White's Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford. Interment: Central Cemetery, Weatherford. Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Charles Linehan was born Dec. 20, 1932, to Orbie and Winnie Linehan in what is now known as Springtown. He married Carla Ann Taylor Aug. 14, 1965. Charles served in the Texas National Guard and U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was an officer in the Grapevine Police Dept, CID, commander for the North Richland Hills Police Department and retired from the Tarrant County Sheriff's Dept. Charles was a member of First Baptist Church of Richland Hills.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Frank Linehan and Carol Linehan.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Carla Linehan; son, Hamp Linehan and wife, Cathy; grandsons, Charles Linehan, Christian Linehan and Andrew Linehan; great-aunt, Laveta Linehan; brothers, Hollis Linehan and wife, Barbara, Albert Linehan and wife, Barbara; sister, Shirley Hester and husband, Wilburn; and several nieces and nephews.

Lyndia Faye Bullock, 66, of Fort Worth died Friday, July 18, 2014 at home with her family.
Graveside service is set for 10 a.m. Tuesday at Tin Top Cemetery, corner of Tin Top Rd. and Bethel Rd. in Weatherford.
Visitation is from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. Monday at White's Funeral Home, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests to the American Cancer Society, 3301 W. Freeway, Fort Worth, TX 76107.
Lyndia Faye Bullock was born Oct. 23, 1947 to Rudolph and Maudie Faye Sims Bullock in Texarkana, Ark. She attended Brewer High School. Lyndia had many careers, including being a successful business owner, before she found her true calling. She became a hair stylist in 1989 and loved working in Weatherford and Fort Worth.
Survivors include her father, Rudolph L. Bullock, Sr.; brother, Rudolph Bullock, Jr.; sister, Deborah Kepper; sons, Earl R. Mendenhall, Jr. and Ricky J. Mendenhall; grandchildren, Mandolin M. Mendenhall, Ashley N. Holder, Mesa B. Mendenhall and Prairey C. Mendenhall; great-granddaughter, Paislea E. Kana; and many other family members and friends.

James Henry Chandler

James Henry Chandler, 87, of Azle died Wednesday, July 16, 2014.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
James Henry Chandler was born Sept. 3, 1926 to James Henry and Marie Antoinette Newton Chandler in Plainview. He lived in the Azle area for 62 years. James married Betty Bentley July 12, 1947 in Fort Worth, and they enjoyed many happy years together until her passing Jan. 28, 1993. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy, serving during World War II. James was a small business owner and was known as the "TV Repair Man."
He was preceded in death by his wife; and sister, Oleta Weddle.
Survivors include his daughter, Linda Fergerson and husband, Ralph, of Azle; son, James Chandler, III and wife, Mary Elizabeth, of Palestine; grandchildren, David Fergerson, Cara Fergerson, Erica Michelle Chandler and James Chandler IV; seven great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.

Samuel Curlett Howarth Jr., 84, of Arlington, died at his home Friday, July 11, 2014.
Funeral is set for 11 a.m. Wednesday in White's Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Ave., Weatherford with interment at 2:15 p.m. with full military honors in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy., Dallas. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Howarth was born in Clifton Heights, Pa., the son of the late Samuel Curlett and Milly Howarth. Sam (known by many as Nunny) moved with his family from Pennsylvania to Lewes, Del. in 1936 and graduated from Lewes High School in 1947. He enlisted in the United States Army that year and was stationed in Korea with the Army Security Agency during the Korean War. Howarth served his country honorably for 20-plus years, retiring as a first sergeant in 1968.

Betty Ann Phillips, 80, of Weatherford died July 11, 2014.
Memorial Mass is set for 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Stephen Catholic Church, 1802 Bethel Road, Weatherford.

Mrs. Phillips loved playing bridge, traveling (especially cruises), reading and looking at the flowers in her garden. She also loved cooking and entertaining, and was well-known for her parties. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America.
She was predeceased by son, Andy Phillips.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Dr. Robert E. Phillips; children, Vicki Phillips of Dallas, Kathleen and James Chadick of Hempstead, Stephen Phillips of Ponder, Valerie Phillips of Hermitage, Tenn., Amy Phillips of Dallas, and Mark Phillips of Arlington; grandchildren, Coertney Chadick of San Diego, Calif., Zack Chadick of Redwood City, Calif., Jordan Chadick of Hempstead, and Ben Phillips of Plano; sister, Pauline McMurrey of Fort Worth; and a plethora of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Alan Dwayne Plumley, 65, died July 11, 2014 with his family by his side.
Service is set for 11 a.m. Monday at White's Azle Chapel, 105 Denver Trail, Azle with interment in Azleland Memorial Park, 850 N. Cardinal Rd., Azle.
Dwayne was born Feb. 3, 1949 in Bastrop, La. to Willie O'dell and Esther Estelle Mayo Plumley.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Claud Dell Plumley; sister, Glenda Plumley; and son, Alan Plumley, Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Cleida Plumley; granddaughter, Ashley Plumley and her son, Aiden Landry Plumley; and granddaughter, Kendra Plumley; brother, James Albert Plumley; sisters, Joyce Ann Snyder and Barbara Ruth McGee; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Darlene Pickle, 73, died peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends Tuesday, July 8, 2014.
Memorial service is set for 1 p.m. Saturday at Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Road, Benbrook.
Mrs. Pickle was born Oct. 12, 1940, in Hobbs, N.M. She was a warranty clerk in the automotive industry.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Allen and Opal Pittman; and husband, James Pickle.
Survivors include her daughter, Dana Johnson of Azle; son, James Pickle of Weatherford; granddaughters, Shanna Anderson (Eric), and Jamie Johnston; great-grandchildren, Lila, Chloe, Lily, Trent, Kurt, and Little Eric; brothers, Gary Pittman and Johnny Pittman; sister, Carolyn King; and best friends, Linda Blackwell and Terri Clary.

Suzanne Roberts Brown of Weatherford died July 6, 2014, after a courageous 50-year battle with Type 1 Diabetes and all the many complications associated with the debilitating disease.
Memorial service is set for 2 p.m. Friday at North Side Baptist Church, 910 N. Main St., Weatherford.
In lieu of usual remembrances, the Brown family suggests contributions in Suzanne's memory to North Side Baptist Church Music Ministry, 910 N. Main St., Weatherford, Texas 76086.
Mrs. Brown was born in Nocona Dec. 10, 1953, the daughter of Wylie and Adeline (Letz) Roberts. She moved to Kaufman in 1963 and graduated from Kaufman High School in 1972. Brown attended Tyler Junior College for one year and transferred to Texas Woman's University in Denton where she earned her bachelor's degree in nursing. She worked for 30 years as a dedicated nurse in Weatherford, and All Saints and Harris Methodist hospitals in Fort Worth.
Brown married Jerry Wayne Brown May 30, 1975 in Kaufman. They made their home in Weatherford, where their son, Matthew Wesley was born. The family enjoyed skiing and a variety of other vacations. Suzanne especially enjoyed visiting and traveling with a group of life long girlfriends from her school days dubbed the "sisterchicks."

Billy House, 81, died Monday, July 7, 2014 in Fort Worth.
Funeral is set for 10 a.m. Friday at Azle Church of Christ, 336 Northwest Pkwy., Azle. Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Jones Cemetery in Utopia. Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at White's Funeral Home, 105 Denver Trail, Azle.
Mr. House was born Aug. 5, 1932, in Colorado City to Willie T. and Frances Moore House. He resided in Odessa for 20 years, attending Odessa High School. He served in the US Army for two years. Billy and wife, Neva, have lived in Azle for 38 years. He was a truck driver for 42 years, retiring from Roadway Express in September 1994. House said he was tired of driving trucks and pulling trailers. Shortly after retiring, his wife bought a 5th wheel RV. So, he continued to drive a truck and pull a trailer. He enjoyed traveling, especially to national parks and to Canada. Most of all he enjoyed time with his family. House loved attending church and being with his church family and friends.
He was preceded in death by sisters, Doris and brother-in-law, Ross Payne and Adelle and brother-in-law, Cliff Leek; brother-in-law, "Bud" Bizzell; and son-in-law, Pat Kasper.
