First-place Ladycats host second-place Azle on Tuesday

Azle brings 4-1 record into match against No. 14 Ladycats

The Azle Lady Hornets will buzz into Aledo Tuesday night in hopes on knotting the District 5-4A race.

First serve will be at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27, at the Aledo High School gym.

The Ladycats (23-8) will bring a 5-0 record into the district match, while Azle sits a match back with Springtown as both teams are at 4-1.

Aledo swept Keller Timber Creek on Sept. 24, while Azle (15-10) won in three games over Boswell. The Ladycats have not dropped a district game in five matches.
