Mon, 01/06/2014 - 6:30pm

Auditions will be held for Theatre Off The Square in Weatherford for Nunsense by Dan Goggin, produced by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc. and directed by Darla Robinson.
This faith-based full length musical comedy is a winner of four Critics Circle Awards including Best Off Broadway Musical in its original New York production. The show is about a fund raiser put on by the Little Sisters of Hoboken to raise money to bury sisters accidentally poisoned by the convent cook, Sister Julia. This internationally known hit will have you laughing as you enjoy the hilarious situations and wonderful music!
Five women age 20 and older are needed to play the following characters:
Sister Mary Regina, Mother Superior
Sister Mary Hubert, second in command
Sister Robert Anne
Sister Mary Amnesia
Sister Mary Leo, novice and wants to become the first nun ballerina
Auditions will be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 6 and Tuesday, Jan. 7. Call backs will be Wednesday, Jan. 8 at 6:30 p.m. All auditions will be in the Green Room at Theatre Off The Square, 114 N. Denton, Weatherford. (817-341-8687)
Because this is a musical, Jan. 6 will be singing auditions, and each actor must bring sheet music and be prepared to audition with the pianist. Everyone must audition both Monday and Tuesday and be able to attend callbacks on Wednesday.
Rehearsals begin Feb. 3.
Production dates are March 14-30. Curtain time is 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and at 2 p.m. Sunday.
