Light the Night

Leah Vann
The annual Light the Night walk with Team Leah Vann will be at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 21 on 7th Street in Fort Worth. Walk or donate to help the fight against leukemia (AML). Leah Vann, a senior at Aledo High School, was diagnosed on Nov. 10, 2011 with acute myeloid leukemia (AML). After a year of treatment at Cook’s Children’s and St. Jude’s hospitals Leah remains in remission. Leah is an honored hero and a survivor. Her father is a remembered hero, Dr. Barry L. Vann. All ages are invited to participate in the 2-3 mile walk. Students can use this as volunteer opportunity.
