Concerns about Lipincott

May 3, 2012 by Editor

On March 7, 2012 I came across a website “Parker County Blog” as a long time resident of Parker County I am always curious to find out what is going on in my County, when I entered the site I found several great items to read.

I came across one item that definitely got my attention “Lippincott files for Tax-Assessor Collector.”

Mr. Lippincott had blogged information about his past work history and other credentials. In response to Mr. Lippincott’s bio was a reply from someone going by the name of “Watcher," it was short and sweet and to the affect that “Watcher” would not vote for Mr. Lippincott because of the past lawsuit and because the incumbent Marjorie King was doing such a wonderful job, well the rant of a reply from Mr. Lippincott that followed was rather shocking.

Many Parker County Residents may perceive Mr. Lippincott writings (which I have included along with this letter) as being a very angry, bitter man which we do not need in office.

I had printed the enclosed information to show a co-worker and when I had gone back to the blog all the good stuff had been deleted and a disclaimer had been put in its place. Hmmmmm

Anyway I thought the information was interesting and thought I would share it, I know one thing thought I will be voting for Marjorie King we sure don’t need a hot head in office.

Misinformation

Ms. King's former employees filed that lawsuit. It was a frivolous lawsuit based on false allegations. It was filed just to give Ms. King an issue to run on. Ms. King was a 3-term Democrat incumbent when I beat in the 2000 general election. She changed parties just so she run against me in the Republican primary. She had already retired. So now she is drawing both a county salary and a county retirement check for the same job. She has held that job for 16 years and is asking to be re-elected to a 5th term. That is to long. She needs to retire (again).
