Ken Hall visits Aledo

October 25, 2011 by Randy Keck

Texas football legend Ken Hall visited Aledo High School today through a special arrangement with The Community News.

Hall, who still holds the national high school career yardage record, recently had a couple of his Texas records eclipsed by Aledo High School running back Johnathan Gray.

Hall came to Aledo to congratulate Gray for breaking his 58-year-old career scoring record during the Aledo-Timber Creek game on Sept. 22. (Click here for video of Gray's record-breaking touchdown.)

After a quiet meeting between Gray and Hall in Aledo head coach Tim Buchanan's office, Hall spoke to the Aledo football team before they went out to practice.

High school football legend Ken Hall spoke to Aledo High School football players before practice on Tuesday, Oct. 25. Hall still holds the high school career yardage record nationally, but Aledo's Johnathan Gray recently broke Hall's Texas career scoring record.

For more on Hall's visit, see the Oct. 28 issue of The Community News.
