On 09.20.2011 at approx 0720hrs reporting officer C Brown #74 was dispatched to the area of 2600 E Bankhead in reference to a hit/run accident. Upon arrival the actor vehicle, a 2007 Chevy Avalanche was located. The driver, identified as Luis Antonio Chavez was arrest for Driving While Intoxicated (with open container) and leaving an accident involving damage to a vehicle greater than $200.00. A report was accomplished.

09/20/11 Cpl. Wright was dispatched to 1836 S main in reference to a forged $20.00 bill. On arrival Cpl. Wright met with Kathy Hanks with the business cash office who advised that at an unknown time, unknown person(s) passed a forged/fictitious $20.00 bill at the store. A report for forgery was taken.

On 09-20-2011 at 1031 hrs I, (T.Wainscott #79) officer with the Weatherford Police Department was dispatched to a theft call in the 1200 blk of E.Bankhead Dr, Weatherford TX. I met with the victim Samuel Thornton W/M 50 years of age. Thornton advised that sometime between 09-19-2011 at 10:00 am and 09-20-2011 at 10:00 am someone entered into his truck tool box without his permission and stole several tools from the tool box. Thornton advised that he did wish to pursue charges .Incident #1100020864

On 09.20.2011 at 1600hrs reporting Officer C Brown #74 was dispatched to 901 S Main St in reference to a theft. Jeanette Weldon of Grand Prairie TX advised unknown person(s) without permission took her purse and it's contents while she sat it down next to her vehicle in the parking lot between 1500 and 1545hrs this date. She estimated a monetary loss of $12.00 as well as several negotiable instruments. A report was taken.

On Tuesday September 20, 2011 at about 4:20pm Sgt Rudolph #35 was dispatched to a burglary of a vehicle at a business located at 138 E I20. Upon arrival Sgt Rudolph spoke with a white female, Eva Avery who stated without her effective consent and with intent to deprive her of her property unknon person(s) forced entry into her white 2004 Chrysler Sebring convertible and removed an item of little value. A report has been made.

On 9-20-11, I, Officer Meza was dispatched to 1200 blk of W Ball in reference to phone harassment. The complainant, Tracy Pettigrew, stated that a known person will not stop calling or texting her. Pettigrew stated she has been tormented and annoyed by his non stop calling and texting.
