Weatherford Police Department News Blotter August 31, 2011

On Wednesday, 08-31-2011 at approximately 2140 hours, I, Officer Matt B. Windham #67 was dispatched to the 801 Santa Fe Drive (Weatherford Police Department), in reference to an investigation. Upon arrival, I met with the complainant who advised that her daughter had been sexually assaulted back in 2009 by a known adult male. The assault took place on East Third Street, at an unknown address. A report was made for Sexual Assault. The victim's mother invoked her right to have a pseudonym used for the sexual assault survivor.

On 08/31/2011 at about 2330 hours, Weatherford Police Officers were dispatched to a domestic disturbance at 2002 Clear Lake Road, Weatherford. Upon arrival Officers identified a white male and a white female. The female advised that she did not call the Police. This female was identified as Donna Yardley (w/f 38yoa). Yardley advised that her boyfriend, Joel Oyebi (I/M 43yoa), had grabbed her by the throat and pushed her. Yardley advised she felt no pain and had no injuries and further did not wish to file criminal charges. Obyebi was found to be intoxicated to the point of being a danger to himself and others. Yardley was found to hold an outstanding felony warrant out of Oklahoma. An information report was completed on domestic violence and Oyebi was arrested for public intoxication and Yardley was arrested pursuant to Oklahoma felony warrant.

On Thursday, 09-01-2011 at approximately 0053 hours, I, Officer Jessica Richard #73 and Matt B. Windham #67, were dispatched to the 700 block of North Main Street, in reference to an alarm call. At approximately 0056 hours, officers arrived on scene at the business and observed the west side door of the business to be shattered out. Once inside the business officers were able to determine that unknown person(s) forcefully entered the business and stole an unknown quantity of merchandise, without having the ownerrquote s, Salmon Valliena (I/M 42yoa), effective consent.
