On Tuesday 08-16-2011 Officer E. Warren spoke with Luther Oliver (w/m 69yoa) at the Weatherford Police Department in reference to two forged checks. Mr. Oliver reported that he was notified by his bank that two checks, counterfeit, had been processed, but not cashed, sometime between 08-01-2011 and 08-15-2011. A forgery report was taken.
T. Trevino # 71 - On 08-16-2011 at approx 1238 hrs I was dispatched to meet a complainant by telephone in reference to a theft. I spoke with the complainant, Coleman Blackburn (w/m 33 yoa), who advised that a known individual had taken property from the 1900 block of South Bowie without his permission. He does wish to file charges against the person(s) responsible as they unlawfully appropriated property with the intent to deprive the owner of the property and without his effective consent. A theft report was taken.
On Tuesday 08-16-2011 Officer E. Warren met with Bruce Blumentritt (w/m 48yoa) at the Weatherford Police Department in reference to unauthorized charges to his debit card. Mr. Blumentritt indicated that his debit card had been used 5 times without his consent, 4 of which occurred in Paris France. A report was taken for fraudulent use or possession of identifying information.
On Tuesday 08/16/11 at approx. 7:16pm Sgt. Laine (R/O) was dispatched to 158 College Park in refernece to a Hit and Run accident. R/O met with the complainant,Beje Linden (w/f 28yoa), who advised that sometime between 3:00pm and 7:00pm on Tuesday, 08/16/11, an unknown vehicle struck her vehicle, a 2003 Hyundai, while it was parked in a business parking lot. R/O noted damage to the complainant's vehicle on the front right bumper. There was not any paint transfer on the complainant's vehicle.
On Tuesday 08-16-2011 at approximately 22:09 hours reporting officer (Taber 77) was dispatched to 102 Santa Fe Dr. in reference to a theft. On arrival I met with complainant, Angela Kelly Halstrom (w/f 31yoa). Halstrom advised that between 22:00 and 22:09 hours a person unknown to her entered the store, stole a case of Bud Light beer containing 24 - 12oz.cans valued at $21.65, then ran out of the store with the intent to deprive the owner of the property. A report was made for Theft under $50.00.
On Tuesday, 08/16/2011, at approximately 2301 hours, Reporting Officer J. Holcomb #76 and Officer T. Bramow # 78 were radio dispatched to a residence located at 110 Davis St., in reference to a domestic disturbance. On arrival, Officer's Holcomb and Bramow were met with a combative subject, later identified as Garcia, Richard Daniel Jr. (w/m 38yoa). While attempting to arrest Garcia, Garcia assaulted both officers, attempted and did take a weapon from an officer's duty belt and resisted arrest/transport. Garcia was arrested and charged with Taking or Attempting to Take Weapon from Peace Officer, Resisting Arrest/Transport, and Assault Family Violence. Garcia was transported to the Parker County Jail for booking.
