Eleven students who successfully completed a 120-hour computer skills class taught by Weatherford College at the Center of Hope recently received their certificates.
“It is never too late to learn and achieve your goals” said Julie Lundy, WC Workforce Training and Development coordinator. “Computer skills are important in today’s job market, and these students have worked hard completing instruction in keyboarding, computer fundamentals, word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software to earn the Computer Skills for Business Certificate.”
WC provides the certified instruction in a computer classroom at the Weatherford Center of Hope.
“This partnership between the College and Center of Hope provides a way for people who want to learn and gain computer skills but who may not be quite ready or able to walk into the college alone a wonderful opportunity and a new hope for a brighter future,” said Paula Robinson, Center of Hope executive director.
