REGULAR AGENDA
BE IT KNOWN, the HONORABLE COMMISSIONERS COURT of PARKER COUNTY, TEXAS, will convene in a
REGULAR MEETING at 9:00 A.M. on MONDAY the 10th of MAY 2010 in the COMMISSIONERS COURTROOM
on the FIRST FLOOR of the COURTHOUSE, ONE COURTHOUSE SQUARE, WEATHERFORD, TEXAS,
TO CONSIDER, DISCUSS AND/OR ACT UPON THE FOLLOWING AGENDA ITEMS:
1. ROUTINE BUSINESS: (a.) Certification of revenues as presented by the auditor; (b). Line item budget
adjustments as presented by the auditor; (c.) payment of routine bills as presented by the auditor; (d.) prior
approval/disapproval of purchases; (e.) approval of payroll, payments for insurance, retirement; (f.) report
from County Treasurer on balances of all funds “1 thru 999”; (g.) accept, renew or reject bids; (h.)
authorization to advertise bids for purchases as listed; (i.) accept or release pledged securities.
d. PRIOR APPROVAL/DISAPPROVAL OF PURCHASES:(Deena Nichols/Judge Riley)

2. REQUEST:
a. Unsold property from the on-line auction ended 04/06/2010 be declared salvage and authorize
disposal.(Deena Nichols/Judge Riley)
3. APPROVAL:
a. Notification that Precinct #2 will push fence row to improve visibility and drainage at the following location
2000 Poolville Cut Off Road for approximately 200 feet of road frontage on the West side of Poolville Cut Off
Road. (Commissioner Brinkley)
b. Notification that Precinct #2 will push fence row to improve visibility and drainage at the following location:
3400 J. E. Woody Rd. for approximately 1,000 feet of road frontage on the North side of J. E. Woody Road.

c. Fund for cash drawer in the amount of $30.00 for the Elections/Voter Registration Office to provide change

d. Submission 2010 County Road Inventory TO TxDOT.(Judge Riley)
e. Obtain ComData Fuel Cards through the State of Texas Fuel Card Program for use by the Parker

f. Order adopting Addendum to county employment policy. (John Forrest/Judge Riley)
g. Parker County Night at the Ft Worth Cats Baseball game.(Jenny Gentry/ Judge Riley)
i. Adoption of amendments to the county employee policies and regulations. (John Forrest/Judge Riley)
j. Air Evac program to optional employee benefits.(Jenny Gentry/Judge Riley)
4. REVIEW AND EXECUTE:
a. Interlocal Purchasing Agreement between Parker County and Cooke County (Deena Nichols / Judge Riley).
b. Approve SWD for purchase of land from Bob Hargis in Precinct Two and approve payment for purchase.

5. WAIVE POSTING:
a. Waive ten day posting for two part-time positions in Precinct #4 (Commissioner Webster).
b. Waive ten day posting for vacant position in Courthouse Security. (Larry Fowler/Judge Riley)
6. PLACE INTO MINUTES:
a. Certification of appointment of County Auditor.(Judge Riley)
7. EXECUTIVE SESSION: In accordance with Section 551.072 of the Texas Government Code, the Parker
County Commissioners Court will meet in CLOSED SESSION to discuss to wit:Real Estate. At the
conclusion of the Closed Session the Commissioners Court will reconvene in OPEN SESSION to make any
decisions or take any action considered appropriate action regarding said matters discussed in Closed Session.

(m. )reports from officials as listed; (n.) interdepartmental transfers of equipment and inventory reports.

NOTE: Commissioners Court may choose to convene into Executive Session items out of agenda sequence depending upon
availability of counsel.
