On Tuesday, August 2, 2011, at 0752hrs, I, Ofc S. Chalmers 61, was dispatched to the Outback building located at 2121 Bethel Rd in Weatherford, Texas, in reference to an act of criminal mischief.When I arrived on scene, I made contact with the reporting party, WISD representative, Grant Priess (w/m 51yoa). The reporting party advised that sometime between 1800hrs on August 1, 2011, and 0734hrs on August 2, 2011, unknown person(s) damaged two windows and broke out two other windows using a landscape brick on the west side of the Outback building. I was told that windows are located on the west side and north end of the building in the entrance vestibule. I walked to the area and observed that two windows were shattered and no longer in the frames. I also observed two windows that had significant chips in them from where the suspect(s) attempted to shatter them. The damage was estimated at $900.00. The Weatherford Independent School District representative advised that the district does wish to pursue charges of Class A Misdemeanor Criminal Mischief $500 < $1,500 against the person(s) for damaging the property without the effective consent of the district.There is no suspect information at this time.Nothing further.
On August 2, 2011 I, Ofc. T. Bramow 78 was dispatched to a reckless driver on Mineral Wells Hwy entering the city. Upon arriving in the area the suspect vehicle was located. A traffic stop was initiated on the vehicle in the 100 block of S Walnut. Upon talking to James Byron Norman (wm 28yoa), the driver, consent was given to search the vehicle. While searching the vehicle, 2.4g of marijuana was found. James Byron Norman was then placed under arrest and transported to Parker County Jail where he was booked in per procedure.
On 08-02-2011 at 2056 hrs CPL Goff, Officer Tippie and I ( T. Wainscott) of the Weatherford Police Department were dispatched to a domestic disturbance at 407 Shannon St. Weatherford TX. Upon arrival at the residence I made contact with Desiree Stokley (W/F 27yoa). Desiree stated that her husband, Kenny Stokely (w/m 47yoa), came over to 407 Shannon St. and started yelling and threatening her and her friends. Desiree said that during the argument Kenny bumped/pushed her body with his body on two occasions causing her pain. Officers were able to contact several witnesses, including a third party neighbor that gave statements of Kenny assaulting Desiree. Kenny was arrested for Assault causing bodily injury (family member) and was taken to the Parker County Jail where he was booked in for the charge. A report was made.
