Weatherford Police Department News Blotter July 24, 2011

On 07/23/2011 I Officer T.Wainscott # 79 was called to a theft at 1706 Remington Cr. Weatherford Texas 76086. Upon arrival I spoke with Ashley Helm B/F 18 who informed me that her iPhone, valued at less than 50.00 dollars, was stolen from her residence by a known suspect on 07/19/2011. Ashely Helm stated that the iPhone was taken without her consent and she wanted to pursue charges on the known suspect.

On Saturday, 07-23-2011 at 1151hrs R/O (J. Hayes #56) was dispatched to 601 Palo Pinto St. in reference to a hit and run accident. Upon arrival I made contact with a Janice Wallace (w/f 61yoa) in reference to her 2009 silver Ford Escape being hit by an unknown vehicle in the back left quadrant while she was inside of the store. Wallace advised that the incident occurred between 1115hrs and 1138hrs on this date and she advised that no one left a note with information on it. The damage to the vehicle was estimated to be over $200.00. A report for duty upon striking an unattended vehicle was made.

On Saturday, July 23, 2011 I, Ofc. D. Feare #59, was dispatched to the Fort Worth Community Credit Union to meet with complainant Karen Dejoyce Schultz W/F 48 in reference to a hit and run accident. When I arrived Schultz told me the accident occurred in the 100 block of Adams Dr., Weatherford, Parker County, Texas and the driver of the other vehicle left the scene without providing any of the legally required information. An accident report and hit and run offense report were made for this incident.

On Saturday, 07-23-2011 at 1655hrs R/O (J. Hayes #56) was dispatched to a domestic disturbance with possible assault in progress at 322 S. Waco St. #9. Upon arrival I met with the victim a Jessica Marie Johnson (w/f 24yoa) who advised that around 1645hrs on 07-23-2011 a known male had assaulted her by throwing her into a window and had pulled a knife on her prior to the assault. The suspect had fled the scene prior to our arrival was was not located in the area. Johnson sustained minor injuries as a result of the assault. A report for aggrevated assault was completed.

On Saturday, 07/23/2011 at approximately 2035 hours, Reporting Officer J. Holcomb # 76 was radio dispatched to contact a complainant via telephone in reference to a theft. Upon contact, I spoke with the complainant, one Henson,Mike,w/m 47. Henson advised sometime between 0930 and 2025 hours on this date, an unknown person(s) removed a car title from inside a vehicle he had for sale without his consent. Henson stated the vehicle was parked at 601 S. Main St. at the time of the theft. A report was made for Burglary of a Motor Vehicle.

On Saturday 07-23-2011 at approximately 2149 hrs. I reporting officer (Tippie #42) and Sgt. Laine #09 was dispatched to the 315 W. Anderson St. in reference to a possible intoxicated person. Upon arriving on scene I made contact with Julie Ann Cook,w/f. Cook displayed signs of possible intoxication and an intoxication investigation was conducted with her. Upon completing the investigation it was determined that Cook was intoxicated in a public place and she was placed under arrest for Public Intoxication. Cook was then transported to the PC Jail.
