51st Annual Trail Ride

The Parker County Sheriff’s Posse will host their 51st annual trail ride to Mineral Wells beginning at 8 a.m. on Thursday, May 12.

The trail ride is open to all riders free of charge including the noon meal in Millsap near Walden’s Farm & Ranch Center. The ride will arrive in Millsap around noon and conclude in Mineral Wells around 3 p.m.

Riders must sign a liability waiver and present their Coggins Negative test certificate on their horse. No double riding is permitted and all riders under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult parent or sponsor.

This event started in 1960 under then Posse Captain, Boley Pearson, and has been a traditional event each and every year since.
