The following offenses were observed or reported to the Weatherford Police Department between Tuesday 04-26-11and Wednesday 04-27-11.

Theft:
04-26-11, 500 Sweetwater Dr, a complainant reported that between 04-02-11 and 04-13-11 a known guest at her residence had used her credit card without her permission for an on-line purchase and also stole an undetermined amount of currency.

Criminal Mischief
04-26-11, 1300 Santa Fe Dr, an employee of Leave and Lock Storage reported that between 04-20-11 and 04-26-11 unknown suspect(s) had damaged property by cutting the pad locks off of six storage units.

04-26-11, 1200 Ranger Hwy, an employee of Extra Storage reported that between 12pm 04-25-11 and 8am 04-26-11 unknown suspect(s) had damaged padlocks on three storage units by cutting the locks off of the locking hasp. No property was reported to have been taken from the storage units.

Evading Arrest:
04-26-11, 600 N. Main St, at approx 6:40pm an officer on routine patrol attempted to stop a driver for the violation of speeding. The driver failed to yield to the Officer and began using the vehicle in an attempt to evade the Officer until reaching the 1200blk of Liberty St where the driver stopped the vehicle. The male driver was then taken into custody and charged with Evading Arrest or Detention with a Vehicle.

Resisting Arrest:
04-26-11, 1300 N. Main St, at approx 8:40am Officers were dispatched to the 1300blk of N. Main St. in reference to a suspicious person in a parked vehicle. An Officer arrived on the scene and approached a white female sitting in the vehicle. The female became aggressive, exited the vehicle and physically attacked the Officer who then struggled with the suspect momentarily before deploying a Taser. The suspect was then detained by Officers and was arrested for Resisting Arrest and Assault on a Peace Officer.
