Weatherford Police Department News Blotter January 3, 2011

The following offenses were observed or reported to the Weatherford Police Department between Thursday 12-30-10 and Monday 01-03-11.

Theft:
01-01-11, 1100 W. Park Ave, a complainant reported that between 1pm and 11pm on 12-31-10 unknown suspect(s) had stolen the rear license plate off of a vehicle parked at the business.

12-30-10, 200 N. Main St, an employee of Main Street Mercantile reported that between 12-25-10 and 12-28-10 unknown suspect(s) had entered into a lot behind the business and stole several metal chairs.

Burglary of a Vehicle:
12-31-10, 100 College Park Dr, a complainant reported that between 6pm 12-30-10 and 12:30pm 12-31-10 unknown suspect(s) had forced entry into a vehicle and then damaged the vehicle’s ignition switch in an attempt to steal the vehicle.

Identity Theft:
12-31-10, 100 Kenshire Ct, a complainant reported that he had discovered that unknown suspect(s) by unknown means obtained her personal identifying information and used the information to pass several fraudulent checks to merchants.

Criminal Mischief:
12-30-10, 300 Love St, an employee of the City of Weatherford reported that between 3pm 12-29-10 and 8am 12-30-10 unknown suspect(s) had damaged the City Park by pushing over a controller switch for the splash pad area.

12-31-10, 400 Willow Creek / 200 Mitchell Blvd, complainant from two separate addresses reported that between 10pm 12-30-10 and 6am 12-31-10 unknown suspect(s) had struck their residences and vehicles with raw eggs.

Harassment:
12-29-10, 100 Kenshire Ct a complainant reported that she had been receiving harassing and threatening telephone calls from a known male suspect.

Assault:
12-30-10, 500 Santa Fe Dr, a complainant reported that at approx 1pm he was approached at his place of business by a known male acquaintance who assaulted him by striking him in the face with a closed fist. The complainant reported minor injuries due to the assault.
