Opry hosting show after Blooms

April 21, 2014 by Phil Major

Event Date:
Sat, 04/26/2014 - 3:00pm

The Texas Opry Theater stage will be rockin’ and rollin’ Saturday, April 26 when the best of the best singers and musicians crank up on some favorite rock-n-roll and older country songs of the 50s and 60s.
The show begins at 3 p.m. after the Weatherford Blooms Festival on the square.
The “Wildman” Michael Hix has been on stage at the Texas Opry Theater quite a few times in the last year and continues to thrill and amaze concert goers each time he appears.
Carey Dyer is a professional singer, humorist and speaker. His “slice of life” humor, versatile singing voice and high-octane energy garnered comparisons to top New York and Las Vegas acts.
Linda Morgan and Jon Rutherford are also prior members of the Granbury Live and The Rockbox Theater. They have come home to North Texas.
Enjoy the talents of the former Granbury Live band that has made The Texas Opry Theater their new home since the closing of Granbury Live in 2011. Roger Ramsey, Christian Hutton and Josh Rodgers are top of the mark musicians who live and/or work in Weatherford.
This show is nearly sold out so don’t hesitate to call 817-341-1000 or go online to www.texasoprytheater.com to get reserved seat tickets.
