CITY COUNCIL SESSION 7:00 P.M.
Call to order

PLEDGES OF ALLEGIANCE

1. I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
2. Honor the Texas flag; I pledge allegiance to thee, Texas, one state under God, one and indivisible.

CITIZEN COMMENTS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS
Citizens who have signed a form to speak to the City Council will be heard at this time. In compliance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, unless the subject matter of the presentation is on the agenda, the city staff and City Council members are prevented from discussing the subject and may respond only with statements of factual information or existing city policy.
B. ITEMS OF COMMUNITY INTEREST
Items of community interest include expressions of thanks, congratulations, or condolence; information regarding holiday schedules; honorary recognitions of city officials, employees or citizens; reminders about upcoming events sponsored by the city or other entity that is scheduled to be attended by a city official or employee; and announcements involving imminent threats to the public health and safety.

1. Consideration of the Regular City Council Meeting Minutes for July 26, 2012
2. Consideration of Minute Order 2012-19, excusing Council Members Wigley and Lixey’s absences from the July 26, 2012 meeting
3. Consideration of Ordinance 2012-13, amending the Hudson Oaks fee schedule

D. PUBLIC HEARINGS AND RELATED ITEMS
1. Public hearing and consideration of Minute Order 2012-20, on request for approval of a re-plat on Lots 1R, 3R1 and 3R2, Block 1, A.B. Cinema Development Addition to the City of Hudson Oaks and the City of Weatherford, Parker County, Texas and being a re-plat of Lots 1 and 3R, Block 1, A.B. Cinema Development Addition according to the plat recorded in cabinet C, page 353, plat records, Parker County, Texas.

2. Public hearing and consideration of Ordinance 2012-14, on a request for approval of re-zoning from “General Commercial” to “Planned Development Entertainment District” on 10.294 acres being Lot 3R1, Block 1 in the A. B. Cinema Development Addition, City of Hudson Oaks, Parker County, Texas.

3. Public hearing and consideration of Ordinance 2012-15, on a request for a Specific Use Permit to allow for a guest house to be built behind the main house on a 1.6 acre tract of land being Lot 20, Block 1 in the Oakridge Addition, in the City of Hudson Oaks, Parker County Texas (3011 Inspiration Drive).

4. Public hearing and consideration of Minute Order 2012-21, on request for approval of a Preliminary Plat-Red Eagle Ranch-Phases II, III, & IV situated in the T. & P. R.R. Co. Survey No. 3, Abstract No. 1514, Zoning “SF-32” in the City of Hudson Oaks, Parker County, Texas. (45.96 acres-50 Lots)
5. Public hearing and consideration of Ordinance 2012-12 amending the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City of Hudson Oaks, Texas, by revising portions of section 31 "off-street parking and loading requirements"; providing that this ordinance shall be cumulative of all ordinances; providing a severability clause; providing a penalty clause; providing a savings clause; providing for publication in the official newspaper; and providing an effective date.
6. Public hearing and consideration of Ordinance 2012-11, amending the Hudson Oaks
Zoning Ordinance Section 28.3, Permitted Use Table and Section 11.2 Carports.

7. Public hearing and consideration of Ordinance 2012-16, adopting the Fiscal Year 2012
2013 Budget.

F. FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS
In compliance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, Council Members may request that matters of public concern be placed on a future agenda. Council Members may not discuss non-agenda items among themselves. In compliance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, city staff members may respond to questions from Council members only with statements of factual information or existing city policy.

G. EXECUTIVE SESSION
Pursuant to Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, the Council reserves the right to convene in Executive Session(s), from time to time as deemed necessary during this meeting to receive legal advice from its attorney on any posted agenda item as permitted by law, or to discuss the following:

I. ADJOURNMENT

I, Sheila Elmore, hereby certify that notice of the above meeting was posted on the front door of the City Hall of the City of Hudson Oaks, a place readily accessible to the public at all times, on the 17th day of August 2012 at 5:00 p.m., and it remained continuously posted for at least seventy-two (72) hours immediately preceding said meeting, and that said meeting and that said notice was posted in accordance with Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code.

This facility is wheelchair accessible and accessible parking spaces are available, requests for accommodations or interpretive services must be made forty-eight (48) hours prior to this meeting, please contact the city clerk at 682-229-2400 or fax 682-229-2429 for further information.
